OOTD-Pinafore

A while back I purchased this black pinafore which was a last minute outfit for THE SCRIPT CONCERT (which is another story) I really really like it but didn't want to leave it in my wardrobe over summer because its black and un-summery but I think this may have brightened it up a bit!The pinafore was from Newlook and unfortunately I can't remember the price, The blouse underneath is one from top shop which I found in the sale a few years ago, I love love love it- its so cute and I think I may actually over wear it! oops! The shoes are red velvet Chelsea boots from Matalan and my socks are the cute little top shop ones in grey! Oh and the red sunnies to match the shoes (just your average glasses). I think the bun up-do looks best with this outfit especially for summer as I just have so much hair!! Imagine wearing a wooly hat on a sunny day... Yeah you have it spot on.
Excuse my very poor, cringey 'modeling' I will not quit my day job. In the second one I think I was actually looking at a bee on the ground, yeah I'm not that natural! OK I think I'm just going to hide in a hole now, also since I don't actually have anywhere to wear this outfit to ha! Taraaaah!

Dainty Doll

Ok, so I had heard quite a lot about Dainty Doll and my nana (who thankfully works in a make-up shop) got me a few items from the Nicola Roberts range.
This make up range is purposely for those with fair skin and I have quite pale skin myself so I gave it a whirl... So here's my review (get on with it zo)
I'll start with my daily used favorite which is the Cream Blusher. Now I'd never used a cream blusher before so I didn't know what to expect, I have shade "001" which is a rosy colour and I feel this gives my cheeks an extra glow on top of the BB cream I use and is easy to apply as it blends in fabulously! However, I was expecting more of a 'tint' from this product, maybe I just have high hopes! Still great nonetheless.
Next, the lipstick in shade 001 which I absolutely love. The shade is perfect for a subtle yet effective look and I feel as though I can wear it day in day out without feeling too 'dressy' it's natural and if you have fair skin it isn't too daring!
I also purchased the loose mineral powder in shade 002 which I was quite excited to use, although I find it quite useless on my skin and I don't feel it makes a difference or gives coverage! Maybe this was meant for those with extremely pale skin.

Well that was long-winded, if anyone has tried out any other Dainty Doll products please let me know how they were! Overall I think it's a great idea and a solution for us fair skins! Adios.
