Naked 2 Urban Decay Palette

So I'd heard a lot about the Urban Decay Naked palettes and when I saw them in the duty free mag on the way to Spain I was more tempted than ever.
3 months later I received the Naked 2 palette for my 16th birthday (eek) and I have most probably used it every other day since. I don't know if it's the fact I feel a bit classy wearing a £38, sleek and stylish eye shadow that I'm so excited about it- it most probably is. But I definitely am generally very giddy about this set. So here goes my review/tips and what not...

Here's a cheeky snap of the palette before it had been touched. I have to say,the shades don't look as smooth and immaculate now (cries) here are their names; Foxy Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted (not the band) and Blackout. 12 perfectly crafted tones which I can't actually decide my favourite out of. It also comes with a double sided brush, the thin one to apply with and then the blending brush which is the thick side.
With eye shadows, I have always been a little over careful and I always seem to be scared to go over the top by using a little too much of a dark tone or just generally accidentally going for the panda look, but with this set, the tones balance each other out and there are so many you can create a gradient smokey eye. Subtle or out-going.
I find that I can use this eye shadow on a day-to-day basis, choosing the light tones to brighten up the eye area. I am still experimenting with this palette and the smokey eye styles, with the help of a few YouTube videos I have found some looks which, with practice, I think work really well. I will be creating a blog on how to achieve a certain look once I've practiced a bit more!
