The Clothes Show Live 2013

 The Clothes Show Live 2013

So, recently I have been to the fabulous Clothes Show Live and what a show it was, every aspect of the day was fashion-filled and fun from start to finish! Whether it be the extremely value-for-money goodie bags or the topless models here there and everywhere, I think it's safe to say I was in my element at the NEC Centre in Birmingham that day.

Let's jump straight into the audience of the catwalk show which, I am still chatting so highly about, reason being it was absolutely brilliant and I'm glad I caught a few of these fashionable moments on camera. As pictured here, there is a display of men is rather tight shorts and their torso on show ...er fashion show? You can't go wrong with that extra bit of flesh aye! What really captured my keen interest about this show was the fact that it wasn't just the ordinary fashion show in which models would strut down to the end of the catwalk, pose away their stuff, and then strut back down. This catwalk was a whole showcase in itself, in fact they did anything other than 'walk'  down that runway. It went a bit more like; skip, hop, dance, cartwheel and back-flip your way there. I couldn't keep my eyes off the way the actors/dancers/models (extremely talented people) showcased their outfits by performing at such an .energetic way let alone their outfits, whether it be monochrome mixtures or the tartan winter collection, it was truly inspiring. Oh did I not mention Peter Andres appearance? Yeah, he was there too no biggie!

Whilst among the hustle and bustle of the Clothes Show stalls, I managed to collect a few goodie bags which were so much value for money I was baffled! I got so many I think I went a little overboard but an example of one which I love was the 'Rimmel Retro' £5 goodie bag which consisted of a Mascara, Wake Me Up foundation sample, a full size tube of fake tan and a nail varnish! shock! I especially loved their stall too which displayed a real  life Vespa (ace). I also managed to lose myself within the 'Vintage Village' where I bumped into Amy Childs at one point, here I purchased an old vintage blouse which had been re-vamped into a groovy looking tee with a cut out back! I shall upload a picture of this once photographed, since I love love love it!

Yeah so I think I've ranted enough about my wonderful experience at the clothes show now, but all in all I had a great time and for the fashionistas amongst us, it's definitely an escapism to the world of style and inspiration! Roll on next year I say!
